Max is a South-Londoner (the ‘south’ bit is important), bearded and over the years people have told him that he is quite tall.

He likes to ponder deeply, usually about film and advertising. He makes commercials because “are you kidding, we get to do this for a job” and is at his happiest when he can mingle a strong creative idea with a striking visual treatment.

Over the years, Max has worn many hats and tends to think that his experiences running around places like Iraq and Burundi with a camera for NGOs or spending a few years locked in a dark room at a VFX Studio have made him a stronger director today.

If you were to ask Max, he’d tell you that great ideas make great campaigns, but secretly he also thinks they take a heap of craft, collaboration and a dash of serendipity. Not to mention a relentless passion for making each campaign, just a little bit better than the last one.
